CALL FOR PAPERS & PITCHES

The main theme of the 2026 EPIEM Conference and 5th EurOMA CEE Research Network Workshop 2024 will be ”Building synergies for innovative digital transformation solutions” and will cover all major areas of production research, digital technologies, and industrial engineering.

Participants can participate with:

  • Scientific paper
  • Project pitch
  • Both a paper and a pitch
  • Workshop participant/listener

Please ensure that you write your name, surname, and affiliation correctly, as this information will be used for the certificate of participation and badges.

Conference fee including conference participation, lunches, and coffee breaks, and it is 200,00 EUR (until 15.05.2026).

Conference fee for EPIEM members, including conference participation, lunches, and coffee breaks: 150,00 EUR (until 15.05.2026).

Other fees:

  • Extra paper: 100 EUR
  • Gala dinner participation: 50 EUR
  • Accompanying person at gala dinner: 50 EUR

General directions for paper submission:

  • All submissions must follow the templates.
  • The papers should be written in English.
  • The recommended length of the paper is 6-8 pages, including references.
  • A blind peer review will assess originality, research depth, relevance, contributions, and clarity. There is no limit on co-authors.
  • The number of co-authors is not limited.
  • Submitted work must be original and not previously published or accepted elsewhere.
  • Accepted papers will be published in a special issue of Mechanical Engineering – Scientific Journal (MESJ).
  • At least one author must register and present the paper for publication.

General directions for pitch submission:

  • All submissions must follow the templates.
  • The papers should be written in English.
  • The presentation should not exceed 4 slides, titled according to the template.
  • The pitch presentation should be up to 5 minutes per project.
  • Voting will determine which 3 pitches will be developed furtherly during the workshop.
