Yesterday (16/11/2023) we had the privilege of hosting two captivating lectures by professor Wilfried Sihn and professor Fazel Ansari, both esteemed members of the Vienna University of Technology.
The first lecture, held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, was tailored for the academic staff and students of the faculty. This lecture delved into our guest’s rich experiences in research and education, with a special focus on digitization and the application of Industry 4.0. 🚀 The title of this session was “Introduction to TU Wien – Research and Education in Production Management and Industrial Engineering”.
The second lecture was held at the Smart Learning Factory – Skopje and it was tailored for our respected industry partners. The lecture was titled “Positive impact production – Fraunhofer Austria, an example of sustainable production and logistics management”. It was an enlightening session that left us inspired about the cutting-edge developments in production management and industrial engineering. 🌐
Beyond his role as a professor at the Technical University of Vienna, Professor Zinn wears multiple hats, serving as the director of the Fraunhofer Austria Research Center, a member of the European Academy of Industrial Management, and holding key positions in the German Chamber of Commerce in Austria and the Austrian Federal Association for Logistics, among others. 🎓 Notably, Professor Zinn is also an honorary doctor of our university Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
Professor Fazel Ansari, equally accomplished, holds the position of professor at the Technical University of Vienna and serves as the Head of Research Group Production & Maintenance Management.
