ОPTIMA student project sucessfully copleted

The OPTIMA student project has been successfully completed, demonstrating the practical application of knowledge gained within the Industrial Engineering and Management study program. The project was carried out in the Smart Learning Factory – Skopje, focusing on the design and evaluation of different assembly layout scenarios, with a particular emphasis on transport optimization.

The project was led by Industrial Engineering and Management students Magdalena Bozinovska and Bisera Toshevska, and mentored by assistant Aleksandar Argilovski. The project results were presented at an official event organized by the University Student Assembly of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, which also provided financial support for the project.

Through experimental measurements, standardized KPIs, and value-based analysis, the project identified the most efficient assembly layout from a transport perspective. The findings offer practical insights for scaling optimized assembly concepts in real industrial manufacturing systems. The project results will soon be published in a scientific paper.
